Afghanistan’s Only Pig Quarantined
Due to strict Muslim values banning the consumption of pork, there is only one pig in all of Afghanistan. One of 42 species of animals kept at the Kabul Zoo, the pig which was given as a gift by the Chinese, has been quarantined for fears of spreading Swine Flu. I’m not sure why I’m blogging this, but the headline made me lol. Thanks Jesse! -Reuters
